CountDown
CountDown is Utatane-sama's most well known work. It is a thick (no pun intended, hontou!) adult tankabon, or manga collection, with many short stories. 6 of these have become OAV and are available on LaserDisc, four of them are in video in the US. The manga has been translated into English by a company whose name i no longer remember, gomen ne ^^ There are many stories... a couple in a trenchcoat together, a dragon and a princess, and some rather funny ones as well. There is also another Countdown story called "A-ki-ra" that is also available in the US. (not part of the tankabon).
There are also two artbooks; there's a scan of one of the covers in the Gallery. One covers the regular OAV, the other one covers the Countdown ~ AKIRA story arc. - Shiki

The artwork is very beautiful. The OAV did an OK job of imitating his art style except maybe in "Virgin Road" which is why there are no images of it here! I didn't like it and neither did Shiki who did many scans for me.

Now I will tell you about the OAV. There are as said, 6 of them. "Virgin Road" is about a young bride-to-be who is seduced by her bridesmaid before her wedding... it was a cute idea but I really did not like the artwork for this one! Much prettier in the manga ne... Another OAV is "Alimony Hunter"... the story is not so good, but I love the characters! Ah, Jun-sama... it's a young woman "Chizuru" going home to her stepson (?) and is seduced by a young woman/man ("she-male" you call them, I think) "Jun" on the bus. He goes home with her and as they make love again, the stepson (again "?" I'm not sure!) drops in... Next, and maybe my favorite one is "Kurenai ~ Kanojo no nidome no namida" (not just because of the bondage, hontou! ^_~) with a blind girl and an ordinary man. After some ... I guess you can call it foreplay? he pulls out one of her eyes (this is one that wasn't released in US, by the way)... she writhes in pain. Then... he does ... you know... to her eye-socket. Then.. he allows her to strangle him to death...
"SEEK" is kind of silly but i liked it! A hero saves a princess from an evil monster and takes her to a hotel... obstensibly to collect his "reward" ne? ^_~ And he starts... but suddenly the princess decides to have her OWN way with him! And the tables are turned on Our Hero. Next OAV... I forget the title but it begins with "zutto". Gomen ne. ^^ A girl's sempai (another Jun-like male-female) is making love to her (i keep thinking, statutory rape! or something... ) and the girl's mother comes in. Then the sempai does her too. ^^ Next OAV, I forgot the WHOLE title, so sorry!! but it's a silly one like "SEEK." I don't remember a lot, but one girl is doing another girl with a sai... then a guy barges in, and I think this was one of Utatane-sama's attempts with mecha... anyway it was very silly.
